Change law on children not giving consent to hugs/kisses and give them a voice

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I'm looking at trying to get child consent taken more serious. I teach my children about their body and how they have the right to say NO to hugs/kisses ect. In adults if a person kisses someone after saying no it's sexaul harassment but in children its overlooked as unwanted affection.
I'd like this to be treated in the same way it would be in an adult

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about children being able to say no to being hugged or kissed by adults, but we're not sure exactly what

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
