Make NHS England declare by law the value of contracts awarded to private bodies

What the petition asks
Last year private companies won nearly 70% of all NHS contracts. Making public declaration of all assets sold (and scope of contracts won) a legal requirement would allow the public to see a true picture of the extent of NHS privatisation. The public deserves better visibility, and to be consulted.
All services run by non NHS bodies and all assets sold should be declared publicly, and made visible to the public where they operate and on their communications.
Private care providers were awarded 267 out of a total of 386 contracts made available in 2016-17, including the seven highest value opportunities, worth £2.4bn.
