The time for the closure of this unelected house has long passed
If we are to have a second house which we pay for through our taxes it should be made up of democratically elected members
Those at present holding seats in this house are not representative of today’s society

This chamber due to being unelected and unrepresentative of most of society and therefore is not fit for purpose.If we the tax payer are picking up the bill for this group we should have the final say of who they are and how long they should be in office
