Make it law that paedophiles get tougher sentences
Rejected

What the petition asks
With each year that passes the sex offenders register gets longer and paedophiles continue to get lenient sentences and are then let out onto the streets to offend again. rehabilitation courses do not work and paedophilia cannot be cured so we are calling for government to introduce a new law that
Guarantees that convicted paedophiles get longer sentences in order to protect the children of this country. During 2010/2011 17,727 sexual crimes against children were recorded in England and Wales. We propose that this law be named "Poppi's law" in memory of Poppi Worthington.
