What the petition asks
That they must abstain from any vote what’s so ever, they should not speak to any matter in hand nor vote for any Brexit related bill.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about matters that the UK Government or the House of Commons are responsible for. We can't accept petitions calling on the House of Lords to take action.
The House of Lords already has a Code of Conduct, which contains some rules about financial interests and conflicts of interest.
