Revoke Ban on Waste Drying Subsidy, impacting on recycling Waste Plastics Crisis

What the petition asks
Government plans to remove 'wood fuel drying' and RDF waste (Refused Derived fuel) as an eligible heat use which will impact on legitimate resolution to UK plastic waste crisis. Whilst the EA enforcing a ban on mixed waste wood drives the price of virgin woodchip, increasing price in line with OIL.
What will happen to Plastics now? Landfill, polluting oceans? Plastics came from natural gas/oil & burn hotter than wood/coal - turn this valuable resource into Local Energy.
EU generates electricity from Plastics, Netherlands boasts 90% recycling. Why can’t UK can do the same?
