Put a stop to SMI before you place more people homeless

What the petition asks
It's came to my attention that the government will no longer help with mortgage payments if you lost your job, But instead offer SMI loan which they expect you to pay back at a rate of 1.7 % when you sell your home that you have worked for to buy and there is no exception if you are on disability
From 01/04/2018 the government will stop all interest payments to your mortgage company . Potentially making you homeless. But they are happy to pay full rent to the ones that have found themselves unemployed , to have a mortgage in the first place you have to be working but no help is now on offer if your not! Yet the government is happy to pay your rent if in rented which is paying the rich man's /women's mortgage off let alone the interest .
