What the petition asks

There is 185000 Charities registered in the UK and the vast the majority rely on meagre amounts compared to this £32m to teach Oxfam a lesson who already make £90m a year from it's shops, this could significantly help the smaller independent charities up and down the entire country

There are more than 185,000 registered charities in England and Wales. The number is rising by 5,000 a year. As you read this, another charity will be created somewhere in the country. The charity commission lists 620 cancer charities alone and more than 200 charities working with homeless people just in London. - The Guardian
