What the petition asks

My son aged 19 had been claiming dla since he was 1 year old. He was diagnosed with mild autism, dyslexia and other learning difficulties. He was born prematurely at 33 weeks gestation resulting in his difficulties. Please tell me how do you suddenly become “ not disabled?” Please sign and share.

I’ve been through appeals and it still got thrown out, how do you suddenly become no longer disabled, as a mother I want justice for my son. He still gets help at college and extra time in his exams, why would he need this if he’s not disabled. Atos healthcare assessed my son wrongly and lied about him, please help the innocent who don’t have the ability to fight, be their voice!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

PIP should be administered and decided by the NHS, not the DWP/contracting firms
