What the petition asks
We think that DT should be made a subject choice in all schools seeing as there is an increasing pressure for students to study STEM subjects and all students should have the opportunity to study DT and discover whether they like it or not.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Apart from compulsory subjects, it's up to schools to decide which subjects they want to offer.
