Petition · past parliament

Throw out any attempt by the BBC to enshrine their privileges into law.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

It has come to our attention that the BBC are trying to get their charter (which they cannot or will not keep to) and their licence fee (which is increasingly unpopular due to the bias reporting of the BBC and MSN) into law. Such action must not happen. The BBC and MSM need to remain accountable.
The BBC and other MSM have increasing shown itself to be biased in their representation of the news. They have shown the contempt to which they hold the fee paying public. They have shown contempt for the charter which demands impartiality.

It is time to show them the contempt to which we hold them and their attempts to prevent accountability being enforced and support the many ignored petitions to scrap the license fee altogether.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
