Petition · past parliament
Investigate and prosecute any MP who votes in favour of and benefits from Brexit

What the petition asks
A number of MPs are believed to have investments, either directly or indirectly, that might lead to them making a financial gain from a decision to leave the EU
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The House of Commons already has a Code of Conduct for MPs. MPs are already required to register and declare financial interests, and to avoid conflicts of interest, so we're not sure exactly what further action you'd like to see.
