Make Mental Health services exempt from VAT.

What the petition asks

Mental Health services such as Addiction Counselling (Food, Drugs, Alcohol etc), Psychotherapy and Trauma Counselling currently are all deemed as VATable expenses which makes them a “Luxury Item” this means that Thousands of people are having to pay extra for the help they desperately need!
Currently services such as Equine Therapy, Art Therapy and Speech Therapy are all VAT Exempt so why not important potentially life saving/ changing services? If this government is serious about helping people with mental health issues then drop the VAT and help to make the services they need more affordable.
