Create a UK Register for people convicted of Animal Cruelty, Abuse & Neglect

What the petition asks
Please sign in support of a 'UK Animal Offenders Register', a central database which will consist of name, address and convictions of people who have been convicted of any form of animal cruelty and abuse.
The Public and Breeders / sellers of animals will be able to check this central database. If it is found that someone who has been convicted of animal cruelty or abuse has a animal the supplier / breeder will be held liable and prosecuted.
At the moment there is no law to stop anyone who has been convicted of animal cruelty doing this again elsewhere.
Stricter laws need to be implemented to help protect animals, heavier fines & longer prison sentences as well as a Animal Offenders Register.
