Demand universities to refund fees for classes annuled during UCU pension strike

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We have a total of 10 days of strike during February and March. We have paid fees for these days where there should've been classes. It is not fair for the university to charge fees for those days. Collectively, it is a lot of money considering the number of students enrolled and effected.
The lectures being cancelled, are also not being re scheduled for any other day.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The decision to refund student tuition fees would be responsibility of universities, rather than the UK Government or Parliament.
