Set up a petition in response to NHS subcontracting to Capita

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Over the last 2 years the NHS has subcontracted out administrative work to PCSE otherwise known as Capita.

This has brought with it greater challenges for practices including increase in workload. Delays from PCSE and no acknowledgment from NHS England in regards to this.
It has also caused delays in records transfers and therefore greater levels of patient dissatisfaction. All GP Payments are now being moved over to this system. Currently we are waiting in excess of 6 months for them to deal with issues and this is just not acceptable.
Prior to Capita the NHS Payments System was run like clockwork. Now it is runs more like a square wheel on a cart. Capita is a business who recently issued profit warnings yet the NHS are to hand over payment control to them?

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
