What the petition asks

The white minority in South Africa have become a despised and endangered group of people since the ANC began to use them as a scapegoat to appease its supporters. I petition the UK government to immediately grant all South African whites refugee status and aid their resettlement in the UK.

"There was overwhelming support at the Conference that the ANC must pursue the expropriation of land without compensation." (1)

"Since 1990, a total of 1,081 white commercial farmers have been murdered in South Africa" (2)

"White communities face a level of deprivation, or of violence, which threatens their future in the country...you will not read about it in newspapers or see it reported on television" (3)

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

People can already claim asylum if they have left their country and are unable to go back because they fear persecution.
