Make the government responsible for the conduct of the FCA.

What the petition asks
The government has previously rejected a petition to stop market manipulation claiming it has no responsibility as this is down to the FCA however the FCA seem to have no authority in financial conduct so I petition the government to take responsibility.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for the FCA to be abolished and its functions to be carried out by the Government, if that's what you'd like to happen.
