Telford child abuse enquiry.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Up to 1,000 children could have been abused in Britain's biggest ever child abuse scandal, an investigation has revealed. Society, must deliver justice to these abused young souls and hopefully, prevent others being damaged and abused in this way in the future.
Lucy Allan MP for the Telford area has called upon the Government to instigate an independent enquiry into the situation in her constituency. The danger is that for political reasons (re: Naz Khan MP) the full facts will never be revealed in the name of 'inclusivity' Only an Independent Enquiry can gain the full facts and deliver these facts to Parliament. The agencies of our society Councils, Social Workers and Police must stand accountable for their actions or lack of actions.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

There is already an Independent Inquiry on Child Sexual Abuse.

The Inquiry has announced that it is considering information from Telford and Wrekin Council as part of its investigation.
