Enforce A Cap On Landlords And Over Priced Private Renting
Rejected

What the petition asks
In a day and age where the cost of living is at its highest, I propose to enforce a cap on properties that are being rented way beyond their desired cost. Private renting and landlords are taking advantage of people desperate for somewhere to live and overcharging everyday people.
my example is my viewing of a one bed, studio apartment which was ONE room, no radiators or central heating and the bedroom was in the kitchen, I could almost stretch my arms from one side to the other, they were asking me for £650 a month. I wouldn't have paid £50 a month. this needs to change. people are struggling and others are taking advantage. make this change TODAY!
