The Government to investigate the money spent by the campaign to remain
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
There should be an equal amount of investigation. So far it seems to be one sided investigating only the leave campaigns. Project fear was used by the government. The taxpayers have a right to know whether there was a misuse of our money on the remain side
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for investigating campaign finance. The Electoral Commission are responsible for investigating political funding and spending.
