What the petition asks

The Ghyll Children’s Resource Centre, is a short breaks respite service for disabled children. It offers overnight respite and daycare to disabled young people aged 5 years to 18 years. Thus giving families and carers a well needed break from caring.

It’s essential that this service remains open to these families, who have stated that their young people would not cope with having to travel to destination a lot further away from home, in order to have the care they deserve and are entitled to. Please help stop this and be part of ensuring these young people are taken into consideration as individuals and not just as a way of making savings due to funding cuts.
