Petition · past parliament

The British Government should rethink their trading of arms with Saudi Arabia.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Saudi Arabia, backed by Britain, have been launching airstrikes in neighbouring Yemen (the Arab world's poorest country), targeting schools, hospitals and homes whilst killing innocent civilians and violating international humanitarian laws.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure what you mean by "rethink".

If you'd like the UK to stop selling arms to Saudi Arabia, you could start a new petition asking for that to happen.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
