Stop Proceeds of Crime Act powers from being used in planning cases

What the petition asks
Change the law to stop local authorities using powers in the Proceeds of Crime Act in planning cases. The POCA was intended to be used to seize assets of drug dealers, arms dealers etc - serious criminals. Local authorities must be prevented from using it against people for breaching planning laws.
My family are a farming family. Due to an alleged planning infraction and an enforcement order that escalated, the powers in the Proceeds of Crime Act can be used take assets that my family has worked for all of our lives. For our assets (up to and including the family home) to be called a 'proceed of crime' is unjust, immoral and deeply unfair.
