What the petition asks
Leicester City Social Services as are all social care are removing children from parents or loving homes without evidence! This is sure damaging for all parties involved especially the children in which they are suppose to be protecting!Social Care need to be more pro-active in helping not removing!
If Social Care worked more with families rather than to targets for removals or adoptions far less children would be in care and far more money would be saved. If there is no evidence why should a stranger with a badge be able to take a child whom they do not know anything about?! Instead if they worked with the family gave them help and support a more positive outcome could be achieved.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We understand that you're concerned about social workers removing children, but we're not sure what action you'd like the Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
