Petition · past parliament

Parliament must be consulted before taking military action against Syria.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Since the 2003 Iraq war there has been a convention that the UK government consults parliament before taking military action against a foreign nation. This is vital in order for the public to hear the evidence for military action, and to make clear the long-term strategy.
