Social media companies to apply restrictions on content promoting gang violence
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
There is overwhelming evidence to suggest those who promote gang violence via social media are fuelling the rapid rise in gun and knife crime in the UK. We want social media companies to take responsibility to apply the same restrictions and constraints similar to those used against terrorism.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This petition is calling on social media companies, not the UK Government or Parliament, to take action.
