Parliamentary vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Prime Minister May has ignored the people she is supposedly representing. We did not give her a majority when she was elected and she unilaterally decides to go along with Trump in his attempt to ignite the Middle East and inflame Russia.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

Take no military action in Syria using UK forces or weapons.

We used to accept petitions that called for a vote of no confidence. However, the Petitions Committee can’t schedule votes of no confidence. This was often frustrating and disappointing for petitioners. Petitions calling for action on policy are more likely to be an effective way of achieving the change you want.
