There are 9m leasehold properties in the UK. Leaseholders have few rights to challenge unfair service charge demands and are subject to exorbitant lease extension charges.
Reform of leasehold has failed it is time to legislate to abolish this feudal relic.

Leaseholders have no control over their homes. This needs to change. Leasehold should be abolished and all leaseholders given their share of the freehold.
