Petition · past parliament
The Home Secretary should resign for her treatment of the WIndrush generation.

What the petition asks
The Windrush generation were invited to Britain, to all intents and purposes they were and remain British. To call their right to be in the UK into question is insulting in the extreme.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The resignation of a Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
