Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

There are thousands of people from common wealth countries living in the Uk all these years, without their rights to work. We are hard working people and will heal to grow the Uk Economy
After India, the next-largest Commonwealth countries by population are Pakistan, Nigeria , Bangladesh, the United Kingdom (65 million), South Africa , Canada ,Ghana and Australia

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you want all Commonwealth Citizens to be given the right to live and work in the UK or only those Commonwealth Citizens who have been living in the UK for a certain period of time.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. If you're specifically concerned about the Windrush generation, you may wish to sign this petition instead: Amnesty for anyone who was a minor that arrived In Britain between 1948 to 1971
