Stop the sale of Wembley Stadium to private hands.

What the petition asks
There are reports that the FA have agreed to sell Wembley Stadium to Shahid Khan, the American billionaire. This stadium only opened in 2007, at an estimated total cost of £1 billion (including improvements to local transport infrastructure). This would see a national asset being sold abroad.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Any decision about selling Wembley Stadium is the responsibility of the Football Association, not the UK Government or Parliament.
