Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Recently lost our still born baby, he has his own plot within carmountside and there has been a spate of thefts including from our little baby’s, more cctv is needed.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We were deeply saddened to read about the death of your little boy. Please accept our sincere condolences.

As we explained previously, we can't accept your petition because the Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Cemeteries and crematoriums are usually the responsibility of local churches or your local council. In this case, Carmountside Cemetery and Crematorium appears to be the responsibility of Stoke on Trent City Council.

You can therefore raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them:
