Change the set up of the security industry authority

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like to petition the government to implement changes to the Security industry authority. I would like the home office to ensure the people applying for licences and renewal of licences to be able to do so without the threat of losing jobs due to the length of time it takes do so.
When applying for a licence there is no mention that when your applying for CRB/ACCESS NI that you as the applicant have to forward your criminal record.
When contacting SIA for more information you don't get to speak to anyone. When emailing or messaging through social media you get no reply. People are losing jobs and homes because this system is incompetent.
