Pass a law guaranteeing free speech except for incitement to violence

What the petition asks
Free speech is the bedrock of western civilisation and should be protected from prosecution. People in the UK should be free to say what they want, when they want and where they want. This should cover all public places and places of employment. The only exception is an incitement to violence.
People should be free to speak their mind at home, in a public space and in a place of employment or worship. Without free speech the evils of society can not be confronted and individual rights can be eroded by the interests of groups.
