Petition · past parliament

Repeal hate speech laws that subvert our institutions and communities.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Hate speech laws are being used to silence criticism of government and ideologies of the day in the press and are being wilfully abused by the police and cps to punish and intimidate free thinkers in their own homes at the behest of vested interests.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you'd like changes to the laws on hate speech, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to see.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
