Petition · past parliament

Allow the whole Country to vote when electing the Mayor of London.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The election of the Mayor of London has been limited to the votes of only those living in London. As the capital of England, the whole of England deserves to have a say in who becomes Mayor. A large majority of workers commute from outside London. London belongs to the Country, not just Londoners.
