What the petition asks

In light of the number of illegal rescue dogs entering the UK from "high risk" countries, the government should enact a quick & easy solution to this problem. Limit dogs coming in on TRACES to 5 dogs per vehicle, this removes the profit element for those involved or insist on rabies titer results

There is evidence of illegal dogs entering from Serbia, Bosnia, Ukraine, Bulgaria & Romania. Serbia and Ukraine are high risk countries. Proof is available of transporters, vets & officials involved in supplying dogs from all the aforementioned countries with Romanian passports & chips so as to travel on Romanian TRACES.
