What the petition asks

The current Tory government led by Theresa May are systematically dismantling practically all of our crucial infrastructure.
If we don't put this to an end, we will continue to see rising prices along with poorer levels of service and an ever increasing wealth gap.

We are being lied to by our politicians and our media, while they try to divide us.
We have allowed this to continue for too long!

Now is the time to take a stand against corruption and austerity and return true democracy to the UK, by triggering a general election.

And by showing our "ruling elite" that they still work for us!

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence in individual Ministers or the whole Government.

You could start a new petition calling for a general election, if that's what you'd like to happen.
