What the petition asks
The government appears once again, to have left her veteran servicemen and women to stand alone against the onslaught of so-called British justice.
Most if not all have already been exonerated, some more than once.
Most if not all have already been exonerated, some more than once.
Phil Shiner, Iraq human rights lawyer who was struck off for misconduct, illustrates that all commissioned with investigating, any current or former British forces personnel, regarding campaign actions for the United Kingdom must demonstrate their integrity is at least up to the standard of those they intend to pursue.
The government should require all employees of all offices of all investigating companies thus employed. To undertake a comprehensive record check, in order to confirm they have never been investigated or broken civil, criminal or military law, during their lifetime.
Those who fail to meet this standard, to have their details publicised and be removed from post.
