Ban plastic straws on school milk cartons

What the petition asks
The Eco teams from 2 primary schools in the North West of England have collaborated to campaign for plastic straws to be removed from school milk after learning about the damage they cause to our wildlife and habitats.
The children have estimated that out of approx 4 million primary school children in England, 1.7 million will have school milk each day in Key Stage 1. This means that approximately 8.5 million plastic straws are discarded each week. Reports say that the amount of plastic in the oceans will treble in the next decade.
