Urgent plea - make the cost of neutering/spaying cats more affordable to all

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Animal rescues and sanctuaries are overrun with unwanted kittens and cats. Some of the rescue centres only home the cats for a certain length of time before they have to be euthanised.
food, cat litter, cleaning products, vaccinations etc cost £100s and rescues rely on donations and volunteers.
cats can reproduce numerous times during their lifetime
Assuming a cat has 3 litters per year, and in each litter they have 6 kittens, the following shows how 1 cat turns into 10077696 over a 12 year period.

1 cat x 3 x 6 x 12 years = 216 kittens
216 cats 3 x 6 x 12 years = 46,656 Kittens
46,656 cats x 3 x 6 x 12 years = 100,77,696
These figures are shocking.
Thousands of these will be euthanised, abandoned or suffer horrifically at the hands of evil humans.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking Government and Parliament to provide funding to animal charities to neuter or spay cats, if that what you'd like to happen.
