Introduce strict law against stolen bike riders.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Stolen bike riders are the main reason behind increasing crime in London and other major cities which include theft, robbery, traffic violations, stabbing and acid attacks.
Statistics on rising crime rate is itself a proof, but stolen bike riders can be spotted in broad daylight breaking into cars, mobile snatching, bike theft, traffic violations and many other associated crimes.

Law enforcement agencies seem to be clueless because the law states that a bike shouldn't be chased, fair enough. What strategy will you introduce to prevent this happening or what measures have been taken and or any progress to prevent all these crimes to repeatedly happening everyday.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand that you'd like to see action taken on stolen bikes, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

You'll need to give your full name to start a petition.
