What the petition asks
Mental health issues are becoming an increasing problem in the U.K.
Although medical professionals may be struggling to cope with the high demand I believe that mental health should not be pushed aside.

Not only is it extremely difficult to get an assessment but whether you’ll receive treatment is another story.
Having had bad experiences with the mental health services myself I believe it’s time to push for change now as this issue will only increase.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do to improve mental health services.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the UK Government and Parliament to increase funding for mental health services, if that's what you'd like to happen.
