FREE TOMMY ROBINSON

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

This is nothing more than the 'higher powers' trying to silence a man they dislike. We ask that you reconsider your decision and free Tommy.
Stephen Lennon aka Tommy Robinson was arrested 25/5/2018 whilst filming a live stream outside a court. Lennon who was serving a suspended sentence was doing nothing wrong yet was arrested and is now in prison. This is nothing more than the 'higher powers' trying to silence a man they dislike. We ask that you reconsider your decision and free Tommy.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This isn't something that the UK Government or Parliament could do. Sentences are the responsibility of the courts, which are independent of the Government and Parliament.

You could start a new petition asking for a specific change in the contempt of court laws, if that’s what you’d like to happen.
