What the petition asks
We the people ask for the immediate lifting of the media ban concerning Tommy Robinsons latest court case. We also want full transparency and detail of the actions taken by every person involved in his arrest and incarceration, including cps decision to prosecute, to be made available to the public.
Furthermore, we wish to be disclosed, full details of the standards of care he is receiving and assurances these standards have been met to British Law, EU law, and United Nations law. Finally we demand the immediate release of Tommy Robinson. and charge the government to prove the incarceration of Tommy Robinson was not politically motivated
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This isn't something that the UK Government or Parliament could do. Sentences are the responsibility of the courts, which are independent of the Government and Parliament.
