Ban knives on the streets

Knife crime on the streets of London has become an ever increasing problem. I think we should ban knives on the streets unless for culinary purpose . Any other knife you need to be registered and background checked to own and to carry in public have a permit with proof of a valid reason .

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you'd like to ban carrying a knife or whether you'd like to introduce a register and background checks.
