Stop the reduction 3rd year student loan for student nurses on the bursary

What the petition asks

For those of you that don't know for student nurses who are in receipt of the bursary, their student non means tested loan of £2300 drops to £1800 in year three for the same length of academic timetabled year.

I have been fighting this on my own for nearly a year. I have been brushed off by student finance and have been in conversation with the relevant MPs and still have no answer as to why this is happening.
Sam Gyimah MP Minister of State for universities told me to apply for a special long course loan, however student finance have said I am not eligible as I receive the bursary.
Together we can overturn this and get a fair student loan for final year student nurses on the bursary!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Provide all student nurses and midwives with additional maintenance loan
