What the petition asks
GDPR has probably been the worst piece of red tape to come out of the EU, its extremely costly to businesses, mainly to small businesses who don’t have massive legal departments and staff in place to swallow up the regulation. GDPR is also extremely damaging to our economy.
The UK voted to leave the EU 2 years ago and we are still having to put up with the ridiculously damaging and annoying regulations. It is believed that the cost of GDPR to UK businesses has already run into the billions, with many small business not at all geared up to deal with it.
