What the petition asks
The England Amputee Football Association's aim is to provide all amputees, people with congenital limb deficiencies and persons with restricted use of limbs, with the opportunity to play football locally, nationally and internationally. However, players must raise funds to cover the costs of this.
Amputee football is a fascinating sport to watch. My husband, Darren has been an amputee for 10 years and by being part of a team of amazing and inspirational people, as well as the volunteers who provide physio and coaching, means that he can respresent his country playing the sport that he’s always loved. All players must fundraise and donate to the charity in order to be able to participate in training and tournaments. This sport has the potential to be one of the best in the UK.
